Amy knows the value of family and community, her roots run deep in Glennville, Tattnall County GA.  She is a proud graduate of Tattnall County High School Class of 1996, the first class to combine in 1993 with rivaling Reidsville.  Amy came to the insurance industry as a senior in high school as part of the work base program working with Brian & Jane Threlkeld, who took her in as their own, just as they were starting their own independent Cotton States Agency.  After ten years, Amy ventured on to the Georgia State Patrol SCRT office working as an administrative assistant to Georgia’s finest boys in blue.  Fatal car crash prosecutions are not for everyone, but her faith in God allowed her to do the job.  Amy also worked with the Georgia Bureau of Investigations Region 5 office in Statesboro and at the family heating and air business.  Amy came back home to the insurance office, part-time, in December of 2022.  She has been a licensed agent for 20 years.  Amy and her husband, Matt, have been married for 25 years.  They have one son, Dustin, who was a graduating member of the Class of 2024 of both Tattnall Co. High School and Ogeechee Technical College.  They have made their home on her family property in the Gooseneck Community and are members of Mendes Baptist Church.  Faith, family and doing for others is what makes her cup overflow.  She is located at our Glennville Office as an agent.
